If you have never changed a diaper while in air, practice before your flight! In the past, I have written about my concern that I'd be changing a diaper during flight and the seat belt sign would come on. Perhaps I jinxed myself, but it happened on me on our last flight.
The very nice flight attendant had just finished telling me, take your time there are other washrooms and no line-up right now. I locked the door, put the change table down and had just taken Reese's pants off when the seat belt sign came on.
Reese has become something of a squirmy wormy and doesn't want to lay still at the best of times, let alone on a small change table in the washroom of an airplane. She looked up at me and smiled as I said oh no outloud when I discovered that I'd need a number of wipes to change her diaper! As the sudden turbulance made the plane bounce, Reese started to laugh, I used one hand to keep her in place and the other to clean and change Reese's diaper. I pulled on her pants in what I call record time and got back to our seat.
Who else thinks changing diapers on an airplane could be an Olympic sport?!
